The player, a new Portal Master, sends them back to Skylands using the Portal of Power.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo restore the Core of Light, the Skylanders must bring back the Eternal Source of each of the eight elements, which power the Core, as well as corresponding artifacts which make up the Core's form and inner workings. Under guidance from Eon throughout the journey, it is repaired despite multiple efforts by Kaos to halt them. He and his assistant Glumshanks retreat to the Outlands, Skylands' most desolate area. The Skylanders journey to Kaos' Fortress for the final battle against him, his dark Skylanders and the\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lernaean_Hydra\" title=\"Lernaean Hydra\"\u003eHydra\u003c\/a\u003e, who was responsible for the Core of Light's destruction.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eKaos is ultimately defeated, and Eon informs him that he is not being rebanished to the Outlands, but instead to Earth. Kaos is ejected to there, where he becomes a frozen figure like the Skylanders were.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan dir=\"auto\"\u003eLes Maîtres du Portail et les Skylanders protègent le royaume des Skylands des ténèbres. Guidés par Eon tout au long de leur périple, ils parviennent à le réparer malgré les nombreuses tentatives de Kaos pour les en empêcher. Ce dernier et son assistant Glumshanks se retirent dans les Terres Désolées, la région la plus aride des Skylands. Les Skylanders se rendent ensuite à la Forteresse de Kaos pour l'ultime bataille contre lui, ses Skylanders maléfiques et l'\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lernaean_Hydra\" title=\"Hydra de Lerne\"\u003e\u003cspan dir=\"auto\"\u003eHydre\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e\u003cspan dir=\"auto\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e, responsable de la destruction du Cœur de Lumière.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan dir=\"auto\"\u003eKaos est finalement vaincu, et Eon l'informe qu'il n'est pas renvoyé dans les Terres Désolées, mais sur Terre.
