Kung Zhu DS is a beat-'em-up platformer.

Choosing from Rivet, Sgt Serge, Stonewall, Rock-O', Drayko, Yama, and picking a set of armor from Thunder Strike, Ambush, Night Raid, Dune Tracker, Shadow Jonin and Fire Chunin, you can begin the game. You go through the level, collecting orbs and beating up enemies. You can also eat treats, which restores your health. By touching the tablet in the right corner, you can activate your armor, which will deactivate after you get hit enough. You can rescue other Zhus from cages, then unlock the ability to play as them.
